Women’s Retreat

Join us March 7-9 for the Grace Fellowship Women’s Retreat where we’ll spend our time focusing on what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus in our everyday lives.

The retreat will begin with an evening session on Thursday and end before lunch on Saturday. All food and lodging will be provided at the beautiful Heartland Retreat Center in Marengo, Ohio. We’ll worship together, hear teaching on various topics, participate in small groups, play games, and enjoy some free time – all with the ladies you know from your campus of Grace.

FAQs

When should I arrive on Thursday?
Check in will be from 5 to 7pm with a session starting at 7pm.

How many sessions are there?
There are four sessions with female speakers who attend various Grace campuses – Beckie Farrant (Pickerington Campus), Erica Shelton (Lithopolis Campus), Terry Farrant (The Chapel), and Heidi Bedford (Jefferson Campus).

Are meals included?
Yes! Four meals are included. We’ll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.

We’ll also have light snacks on Thursday evening but plan to have eaten dinner before you arrive.

What activities will there be during “free time”?
Heartland Retreat Center offers walking trails, pickleball, volleyball, and basketball! You can also choose to take a nap (super rare – we know!), talk with other women, play board games, or just relax.

Can I choose who is in my room?
Yes! We want you to feel comfortable and will do everything in our power to make sure the friends you request on the registration form are in your room.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
It is dorm-style lodges with bunkbeds. We will try our hardest to accommodate as many bottom bunks as possible (we understand no one over 21 is begging for a top bunk). We also have extra rooms to make sure we can spread out as much as possible.

You will need to bring your own bedding. Each dorm has a hospitality room with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

What do the bathrooms look like?
Each lodge has two bathrooms. They include 8 private showers that have changing areas connected to the shower. Each bathroom has several sinks and plenty of mirrors and outlets.

Can I just come on Friday?
You can, but unfortunately the cost will still be the same.  We aren’t able to offer discounts based on our contract with Heartland.

Besides the sessions, are there any other small groups or breakouts
Yes! We will have small group discussion time following each main session. We will divide into groups based upon the Grace Campus you attend. There will also be breakout session options to focus on Grace’s Discipleship Profile. You will be able to sign up for one of them on the registration form. These 90-minute sessions will include discussion time as well.
