The first time I visited Southeast Asia in 2015, I fell in love. I had always had an interest in other cultures and foreign languages, especially in Asia. I returned home with a part of my soul activated that I didn’t even know was there. Once I finished my degree, I felt the Holy Spirit’s whisper to move there, which was never part of my plan. However, now that I have lived here for about a year and a half, I can’t imagine my life any other way.
Here in Bangkok, I work with a ministry called Dton Naam. Dton Naam offers male sex workers the opportunity to leave prostitution and helps them to rebuild their lives holistically by providing education, healthcare, counseling, and vocational skills training. As part of the team, I teach multiple English classes and one-on-one lessons each week, help with our social media presence, and assist our job training cafe operations.
Here are the ways you can partner with me on my journey:
- Pray that my students would be open to hearing and ultimately accepting Jesus.
- Pray that our Bible classes and worship time would plant seeds in their hearts.
- Partner financially with me by giving monthly.
