Rachel's House at Lower Lights - Give Financially

GIVE NOW

Grace has the opportunity to fund renovations of Rachel’s House at Lower Lights. Rachel’s House offers supportive housing and comprehensive services for women returning to the community from prison.

The front and back porch of the house is in desperate need of restoration and outfitting (seatings, tables, grill, etc.). These spaces are the first impression women have of the house and provide a crucial environment for meetings with counselors, Bible studies, and community building for the women.

Lower Lights supports people and families of Franklinton by providing addiction recovery services, low-income housing, child mentorship programs, meals, and vocational training. Lower Lights has been Grace’s longest standing partner organization.

Pregnancy Decision Health Center (PDHC) - Give Financially

GIVE NOW

Pregnancy Decision Health Center (PDHC) empowers individuals to make healthy life choices consistent with the God-given intrinsic value of every human life. The cost per client from beginning to end, which includes services throughout a woman’s entire pregnancy and beyond, up through the first year of their baby’s life, is $757. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to fund the cost of 27 women receiving services. Covering these costs removes many barriers and fears that parents have about adequately preparing for, paying for, and bringing a baby into the world, bringing hope for a future and a family.

*All financial gifts will be divided among Grace’s Local Impact Partners.

In order to both provide for basic needs (groceries or gas) and to create fun family experiences, there are several gift card options available for purchase. To participate, visit the Christmas in July lobby area at the Jefferson Campus!

Gift cards and diapers can be dropped off in the

Star House - Give Financially

GIVE NOW

Star House is Central Ohio’s only drop-in center for youth ages 14-24 who are experiencing homelessness. They provide essential items such as food, hygiene supplies, clothing, laundry, and bathroom facilities to their teens and young adults.

We have the opportunity to sponsor the revitalization of the Star House Art Program. Art can be an incredibly therapeutic activity for these young people who, in addition to suffering from homelessness, often battle significant mental health problems. The art room has been without supplies for some time, and bringing back the art program will greatly increase the morale, positivity, and healing throughout the house!

*All financial gifts will be divided among Grace’s Local Impact Partners.

Star House - Drop Off Items

We’re also collecting new shoes for Star House’s Step into Summer Shoe Drive. Youth experiencing homelessness spend a lot of time walking, so Star House needs to stock up on shoes before the cooler weather arrives. While Star House will accept tennis shoes of all teen and adult sizes, they are in particular need of men’s size 10 and above.

Shoes can be dropped off in the
Upper Arlington Lobby July 9 – July 30.
