Meet Hayley & Ryan
Thanks to my cousin who never gave up asking to me come here, I am so thankful to call this my church home.
My faith has always been a rollercoaster even though I was brought up in a Christian home. I put my relationship with Jesus on the back burner longer than I’d like to admit, until June of 2020 when my whole world changed. I had suffered a miscarriage, and it rocked me to my core.
Fast forward a few months later, I suffered two more. I was completely lost and broken, and that is when I could feel Jesus telling me to lean on Him and trust Him during this difficult time.
It was the best decision I could have ever made. He got me through my darkest hours.
Grace has been a part of my story because it was here that I decided to be baptized – to show Jesus that I am trusting Him and His plan for my life. I have seen God’s faithfulness in my story because He got me through the days where I didn’t see a way out. He also has blessed my husband and I with a sweet surprise – we are expecting and due in July! God is so faithful to those who trust Him, and I am living proof of that.
Growing up, I began to know about Jesus by going to church with my family. I was raised as a Catholic and went to a Catholic school from grades 1-12. I’ve always kind of known about Jesus, but it wasn’t until about five years ago that I began to really form a relationship with Him.
It was when I first started going to a Christian church while stationed in Hawaii that I really began to learn about Jesus. I always felt I was just going through the motions as a Catholic and never really got much out of the services on Sunday mornings.
Once we moved back to Ohio from active duty, we went to a couple different churches but never felt at home until we found Grace.
Grace has helped me deepen my relationship with Jesus and is the reason why my wife and I took the next step and were baptized together. God has blessed me in so many ways and has shown His faithfulness by blessing our family with another baby due in July after multiple miscarriages. Grace Fellowship has helped me become a better Christian, husband, and father, and I’m so happy to have this church in my life.
