PETER & AMBER NORRIS

"While on a family vacation in 2010, we sensed a call into mission work. We didn't know exactly where that calling would take us, but as soon as we returned home, we consulted church leadership and sought opportunities to prepare for service in international missions."

Peter and Amber Norris, along with their children Lena, Isaac, and Katie, serve in Cambodia, where they minister to university students from across the nation. As lifelong participants in the Charis Fellowship of Churches, Peter and Amber faithfully served at Grace Fellowship beginning in 2005. Over the years, they invested in students through youth ministry, led Grace Groups, and helped launch the Jefferson Campus.

Their journey toward international missions began in 2015 when they joined a short-term team to Cambodia. During that trip, they sensed God inviting them to be part of a movement of transformation and gospel impact. In response to that calling, they moved to Cambodia in 2020.

Because Cambodian universities do not provide student housing, the Norrises serve through a dormitory ministry that offers students from across the country a safe and supportive place to live while pursuing their education. While students are not required to be followers of Jesus to live in the dorm, they regularly encounter the gospel through relationships, discipleship, and weekly interactions. As a result, many carry the Good News into their future careers, families, and hometowns.

Here’s how you can partner with Peter and Amber:

• Pray for their children as they navigate frequent goodbyes and the unique challenges of life on the mission field.

• Pray for their oldest daughter, Lena, as she transitions to university life, and for the family as they adjust to this new season.

• Pray for deep and meaningful relationships with Khmer people that lead to natural opportunities for discipleship.

• Pray for the students they serve to grow in their knowledge of Jesus and their love for Him.

• Pray for increasing faith, wisdom, and boldness among the Khmer staff as they invest in and lead the next generation of the Cambodian church.

• Partner with them financially by helping meet both one-time and ongoing monthly ministry needs.
