678 & HSM Winter Experience at Kalahari

This Winter Experience for students in 6-12th grades is the best way for students to connect with other students and their small group leaders all while participating in age-appropriate and engaging sessions, interacting in small groups discussions, and having a blast at Kalahari, one of the largest indoor water parks in the US!

Registration is $199 per student and includes busing to and from the experience, food, hotel, activities, and more!

Even though the full weekend experience registration is closed, it’s important to us that our students still have the opportunity to experience Kalahari.

New this year, we’re offering 678 students the Kalahari Day Pass! This pass will include the bulk of the Kalahari experience, all taking place on Saturday, January 10.

Here’s how it works:

Registration is $100 per student and includes

  • transportation to and from Kalahari on January 10
  • food
  • morning + evening sessions
  • waterpark time

Students will be bussed from the Pickerington Campus early Saturday morning to Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, where they’ll arrive in time to join their group for the morning session.

Students will spend the entire day with their small group participating in:

  • the morning session
  • group time/lunch
  • waterpark/arcade/free time
  • dinner
  • evening session

Directly following the evening session, students will be bussed home and arrive back at the church around 11:30pm.

Parents are also welcome to drive their student to and from the resort on Saturday if they feel more comfortable with that option.

All High School Students are welcome to join us for this year's HSM Winter Retreat! We'll travel to the largest indoor waterpark in the US - Kalahari! During our stay, students will have the opportunity to connect with leaders and other HSM students while engaging in sessions, small group discussions, and tons of fun at the water park!
